Harbor Illumination (Hull)

It happens only one night a year…the magical Harbor Illumination. Join us as we once again light the harbor with more than one thousand flares celebrating Hull’s maritime heritage. There is so much happening at this year’s Illumination!
Get ready for an electrifying show at this year’s Harbor Illumination! Join us at 1:00 pm near Point Allerton Station as the Coast Guard dazzles with a thrilling Sea Rescue demonstration. Watch in awe as the helicopter hovers above, showcasing an incredible life-saving mission that you won’t want to miss! After the demonstration, the helicopter will touch down at the Dust Bowl for everyone to get a closer look. This is one spectacle that promises thrills and chills!
11AM Come meet your local Coast Guard members and the Coast Guard Auxiliary at the Point Allerton Station. Take a guided tour of the station and boats, learn how to tie knots, and play some cornhole with the Coasties. It’s a fun-filled day designed for the whole family, offering a unique opportunity to connect with those who keep our waters safe.

Harbor Illuminations is an annual event hosted by the Hull Life Saving Museum. Artisans, music, food, children’s entertainment and the famous illumination.
