Carole A. Heath of Plymouth, passed away suddenly on Thursday Aug. 8. For 66 years, she was the beloved wife of Albert S. Heath, who passed in 2022.
Born in Plymouth on February 13, 1936, the daughter of the late Rego H. and Lillian C. Petocchi. She was educated in Plymouth schools and graduated from Plymouth High School.
Carole worked many years for the Boston Law Firm of Bromberg and Sunstein LLP as a legal secretary. She loved working in Boston and the challenges of a law office.
Carole enjoyed gardening, homemaking, and especially cooking. She believed that one of the best ways to show love was to provide a great meal for others. She was an avid golf fan and never missed an open on TV. But her real passion was traveling, having toured Great Britain, Italy, Alaska, and her most treasured destination, France.
Carole is survived by her sons Robert T. Heath of Plymouth and David J. Heath, and his wife Alice, of Kingston. She was also predeceased by her son Frederick of Sandwich and her sister Brenda Torchio of Belmont. She was the cherished grandmother of Amy Heath, Matthew Heath, Kaylen Heath, Tyler Heath, and Kasey, Benjamin, and Bailey Dietzman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She loved them all and her eyes would light up whenever she was with them.
Visiting hours will be at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home 373 Court St., Plymouth on Friday Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A service will be held at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105.
