Joyce A. Carvalho of Plymouth, died peacefully on Oct. 16 after a long illness. Born in Plymouth, on Dec. 17, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Hilda (Correa) Carvalho. Joyce attended Plymouth schools and graduated from Plymouth High School. She worked in the real estate field for most of her life in the South Shore area. Joyce lived most of her life in Plymouth (but did live in Weymouth for several years before moving back to Plymouth). Joyce had a great love for her cats and enjoyed her time spent with her family and friends, and playing the lottery.
Joyce is survived by her brother Robert “Bobby” Carvalho of Duxbury and her cousins Kenneth Medeiros and his family of Plymouth, and Richard Manfredi and his family of Plymouth.
Visiting hours at the Cartmell- Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, 373 Court St., Plymouth, are on Friday, Oct. 25, from 10 to 11 a.m., with a funeral service at 11. Burial will follow at Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
