Creating Images with Paint and Hand-Painted Collage Materials (Duxbury)

Create paintings using acrylic paint and hand-colored papers. This is an introductory class, suitable for the novice or the master. It is not necessary to have painting experience to enjoy the process of this workshop. Suzette  Lebenzon will demonstrate her techniques for creating collage papers out of scraps and recyclable papers. These papers will then be integrated into pictures painted with acrylics. Old newspapers, gift tissue paper, discarded books, magazines—all can be transformed into colorful, textured materials that add interest and depth to your images.
Suzette will bring some materials to share, but asks that you bring your acrylic kit (list below) and any papers you may have interest in utilizing.
