Felted Basket Workshop (Middleborough)

Join us for a felted wool basket workshop at Soule Homestead. During this 2.5 hour class students will learn the fundamentals of wet wool felting, a textile technique that has been around for thousands of years. Artists Linda Malis will teach students about wool, wool fibers, and then walk them through the process of wet felting. Students will leave the class with a finished wool basket of their own to take home. Dress to craft, in clothes that can get a little dirty. At time of registration students can select whether they’d like to make a natural wool basket or a wine colored basket.
