The weather was damp, but not enough to dampen spirits during Friday’s annual tree lighting festivities downtown, which attracted throngs of people looking to get in the holiday spirit. The event also included live music, arts and crafts, hay rides, Santa, and the Winter Lights 5k road race – which was more hectic than usual because of rerouting required to bypass the Stephens Field work site.
