America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Parade and Celebration (Plymouth)

Experience America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Parade!
The weekend of festivities has become a beloved holiday occasion as well as an important link to our nation’s history and heritage. Hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life have traveled to the historic Plymouth Harbor and Waterfront to experience a bounty of authentic Americana. The celebration of Thanksgiving becomes history-brought-to-life as Pilgrims, Native Americans, Soldiers, Patriots, and Pioneers proudly climb out of the history books and onto the streets of Plymouth.
Parking and Shuttles are available Off Route 3, Exit 13at the Plymouth County Courthouse, 52 Obery Street, Plymouth or at the Kingston MBTA lot, Marion Drive, Kingston off Route 3, Exit 17. Shuttles run every 15 minutes from these locations dropping and picking up at Lincoln Street in downtown Plymouth where you have a short walk to the Parade Route.

WCVB Channel 5 will broadcast live on Saturday- November 23rd at 10am. Encore broadcast on Thanksgiving morning- November 28th at 9am.
Schedule of Events
Friday, Nov. 22 – 7pm – The Plymouth Philharmonic Concert at Memorial Hall.
Saturday, Nov. 23 – 9:00am-12pm: Parade begins at Plymouth Rock at 10am, continuing around Water Street to Main Street to Court Street, and ending at Benny’s Plaza at 179 Court Street. (Opening ceremonies start at 9:00am at the Pilgrim Memorial Park on Water St near Plymouth Rock).
Road Closures – 7am-the end of the parade: Water St from Union St, to the Rotary at Town Wharf.. Side Streets for staging: Brewster St, Howland St, Chilton St, and Memorial Dr.
Saturday, Nov. 23 – 11am-4pm – Waterfront Activities include a Craft Beer and Wine Garden, Children’s Pavilion, Food Truck Alley,  Historic Village & Living Historians, The Native American Pavilion. Check the Event Website below for more Information on the weekend activities.
Saturday, Nov. 23 – 6:30pm – National  Senior Alumni Drum  & Bugle Corp Reunion at Memorial Hall
Sunday, Nov. 24 – 11am-4pm – Harvest Market
