Ambassadors help our organization thrive. They are an integral part of our community-driven approach. As an ambassador you will help build a sustainable news organization that is firmly rooted in our beloved town of Plymouth, a place brimming with history, culture, and the unyielding spirit of its residents. By joining our team, you will help the Plymouth Independent elevate the voices that deserve to be heard and shed light on the issues that matter most to our community.

Goals of the Ambassador Program

• Extend the reach of the organization via a variety of digital channels.
• Increase awareness and engagement.
• Create a community of advocates who are invested in the success of Plymouth Independent.
• Give energy to a grassroots fundraising program that will work to sustain our news organization into the future.

What will I be asked to do?

Our Ambassador program is launching with a simple focus – leverage social media and personal connections to get noticed and encourage people to join The Plymouth Independent email list.

As an Ambassador, you will post original social media content that we provide and answer frequently asked questions. Your posts will generate discussion and more people will sign up to receive our news.

You will be invited to our Plymouth Independent Ambassador Facebook group where we will share content and work collaboratively to develop content.

You will be invited to special Ambassador gatherings where you will meet other Ambassadors in person, trade strategies, and make new friends.
