Ann Marie Sears, 68, of Sandwich, formerly of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly at her home on June 24. Born in Plymouth on October 16th, 1955, she was the loving daughter of Jacqueline R. (Pizzotti) Sears and the late Richard Lewis Sears. She was educated in Plymouth and was a graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School, Class of 1973, and graduated from Cape Cod Community College.
Ann Marie was working in administration as a receptionist for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital at Cape Cod. She had previously been employed by Bravman, Langston and associates for over 30 years as a medical secretary. She was a Licensed horseback riding instructor at Derocier Training Stables and had also worked for Justice Racing Stables as an instructor.
Ann Marie was always known for her kind and gentle demeanor. She had a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds, but her love for horses went beyond measure. She was able to exceptionally train and bond with the countless horses she worked with throughout the years.
Ann Marie also raised butterflies. Her love for nature was plentiful. She embraced her surroundings with an open heart. The relationships she had with folks was a gift to the many hearts she touched. But the loss of Daisy, her precious Jack Russell, was a heartbreak Ann Marie was unable to process. We pray she will always remain in your heart.
Besides leaving her mother, “Jackie” Ann Marie is survived by her former husband, John Milde of Sandwich, as well as her cousin, Kim Diozzi and her significant other, John Scagliarini of Plymouth. She will truly be missed by the many hearts she touched.
