Audrey E. Granara

Audrey E. Granara, 89, of Plymouth, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Francis “Frank” Granara and the daughter of the late Ralph and Lucy Viola (Howell) Slaunwhite.

Born in Boston on April 17, 1935, Audrey was a graduate of Boston Girl’s High School. She, along with her husband Frank, were the owners and operator of AllTemp Insulation Company. Audrey just celebrated her 89th birthday with a party from her family. She always loved to have a good time and socialize with her family and good friends. She enjoyed dining out and was always on the go. She loved to play golf and even had a hole-in-one at Presidents Golf Course in Quincy. She enjoyed her golf membership at White Cliffs Golf Course and Worthington Country Club in Florida.

She is survived by her children, Frank Granara and his fiancé Judith Celata of Boston, Donna McCloskey of Plymouth, and Ellen Sirois of Plymouth; grandchildren, Bobby Sirois, Marisa Shore, Melanie Reddy, Frankie Granara, Michelle Granara, and Matt McCloskey; great grandchildren Skylie, Leo, Giana,Charlie, Hunter, Eve, and Peri; and her sister, Jean Adams, and her husband William of Hanson. She was the mother -in-law of the late Jean Granara, Bob Sirois, and Scott McCloskey.

Services were private, with interment in Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN, 38105.
