Children’s Book Day (Nantucket)

The Nantucket Book Foundation presents its inaugural Children’s Book Day on Saturday September 7, 2024. Celebrate the transformative power of literature for children with this special day sandwiched between “National Read a Book Day” and “International Literacy Day.”
The event will be held at Children’s Beach with a variety of events and activities – fun for the whole family and FREE and open to all!

From 1PM – 4PM the Children’s Book Day fun continues with a line-up of local Cape and island’s children’s authors featuring story times, crafts, and activities.
This new venture for the Nantucket Book Foundation was made possible with a grant and support from the Nantucket Cultural District and additional support from Barbara Tibbetts of The Look Book Nantucket.
