Colonial Adventures for Kids at Alden House (Duxbury)

What was it like to be a child long ago? Alden House’s Colonial Adventure Camp invites kids 8-13 for a day of time travel with hands-on activities, games, and crafts during the school vacation week on Wednesday, April 17 from 10 am to 2 pm.
Activities include writing with a quill, dipping a tallow candle, spinning wool into thread, cooking over a fire, playing games, archaeology, and more. The program is led by museum educators.
Advance registration is required as space is limited. To register, please email director@alden.org. Fee is $25; $20 for members.
Alden House Historic Site is part of the original land grant given to Mayflower Passengers John and Priscilla Mullins Alden in 1627 and home to generations of their descendants. Located at 105 Alden Street in Duxbury, it is owned and operated by the Alden Kindred of America.
