Community Day at Heritage Museum and Gardens (Sandwich)

Celebrate Community Day with us at Heritage! Today ONLY Free admission is available for Sandwich residents, seniors (age 65 and over), and veterans. Select Community Day Non-Member Tickets and enter the appropriate code. Please note: visitors using the free admission options must present a valid ID/proof of residency upon entry.
The Cape Cod Hydrangea Society Display Garden boasts a collection of over 155 exceptional cultivars, around 60% of which are legacy varieties no longer in cultivation anywhere else. The North American Hydrangea Test Garden features over 240 of the newest varieties of hydrangeas being vigorously tested and evaluated here, growing alongside companion plants, providing garden design inspiration. Take a self-guided tour to discover more about this signature plant, learn to identify, select, and care for your hydrangeas from Cape Cod Hydrangea Society volunteers in the gardens, capture the beauty of the blooms during an art-making activity, and more! All extra hydrangea-focused activities are free with museum admission or membership. No advance registration required.
