Creating Miniature Sculptures – Clay Workshop (Middleborough)

Join us for this fun and creative workshop at Soule Homestead led by local potter Dave Kraemer of Dave’s Pottery. In this class, participants will learn basic pottery techniques such as wedging, pinch pots, scoring and slipping, and carving. Students can create animals, people, imaginative creatures, or what strikes the artist’s fancy. Pieces will be taken by the instructor and fired in the studio to set the clay (pick-up will be at the farm). Participants can leave their pieces as is or paint them at home – the creative possibilities are endless. Come for a morning of creativity at the farm. All are welcome: This class is perfect for adults and children (age 7+) accompanied by a parent/guardian. This is not a drop-off event. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
