May 7 @ 2:00 pm
Designing the heirloom flower gardens at the Elijah Cobb House Museum, Bob Hoxie, garden designer and horticulturist, presents an informative and colorful program on how he created the heirloom flower gardens at the Elijah Cobb House Museum in Brewster, MA. The gardens are inspired by the diaries of Caroline Atherton Dugan, a dynamic and articulate young woman who lived and gardened at the Elijah Cobb House in the 1870s. Bob has a diverse background in landscape design, fine gardening, historic landscapes and ecological restoration.
