Hometown Haunts and Hops: Horror Convention 2024 (Plymouth)
September 21 @ 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Get ready to shriek in delight at this year’s Hometown Haunts & Hops Horror Convention, descending upon Mayflower Brewing Co. As the autumn shadows grow longer, join fellow horror enthusiasts in a celebration that’s sure to be even more thrilling than last year. This year, we’re commemorating the chilling 35th anniversary of “Tales From the Crypt” with our marquee guest, John Kassir, the unmistakable voice behind the iconic Crypt Keeper. Brace yourself for an electrifying encounter with this legendary figure in horror history. But that’s just the beginning! We’re cranking up the creep factor with not one, but two legendary vehicles on display: the Ghostbusters Ectomobile and the Resident Evil Raccoon City Police Cruiser. Plus, don’t miss a rare opportunity to see Tim Curry’s screen-used Pennywise Costume from the horror classic, “It.”
The fright fest kicks off even before the main event, with a spine-chilling film festival on September 20th in downtown Plymouth. Dive deep into horror lore with screenings of “Pennywise: The Story of It” at Sour Not Sorry (Tickets). The screening will feature exclusive meet-and-greets with the writers/directors, short films, and more creepy fun.
During the convention, immerse yourself in a myriad of macabre activities:
Flaunt your frightening best in our Costume Contest or show off your ink in the Tattoo Contest.
Test your horror knowledge in games designed to thrill and challenge.
Explore panels and live podcasts diving into the darkest corners of horror lore.
