Lincoln Day 2024 (Hingham)

Join us for the 47th commemoration of Lincoln Day when we honor the Lincoln legacy in American history with a program, wreath laying and a reception. Historian Michelle Marchetti Coughlin will discuss her recent research on Mary Cushing Lincoln, wife to Major General Benjamin Lincoln, highlighting Mary’s wartime experiences and her life’s lasting impact on her family, home, and community.
10am – Hingham Militia Company Muster
11am – Program followed by Parade to Fountain Square and Reception at the Heritage Museum
Keynote Speaker: Michelle Marchetti Coughlin – “The Revolutionary Life of Mary Cushing Lincoln”
