David Jacobson

David A. ‘Jake’ Jacobson of Plymouth died suddenly, on January 12th at B.I.D. Hospital Plymouth. He was the beloved husband of Joan M. (Quinter) Jacobson.

Born in Plymouth on December 6, 1956 son of the late Enis (Almeida) Jacobson and Andrew Jacobson. He was educated in Plymouth and a graduate of Plymouth-Carver High School class of 1975. He went on to attend Northeastern University in Boston earning his Associates degree. 

David was a member of the Local Boiler’s Maker’s Union working in construction most of his career. An avid Boston sports fan he had a large collection of sports memorabilia. He was an avid volleyball player where he played the sport for over 25 years. 

Besides his loving wife Joan he is survived by his two daughters Emily A. Jacobson and Alyson M. Jacobson both of Plymouth. He was the cherished grandfather of Maxwell W. McMahon, Kaiden T. DeMoranville and Korra R. DeMoranville. He also leaves his beloved grand puppy Kona. He was the dear brother-in-law of Robert Quinter of Pembroke, Susan(Albie) Burke of Carver, & Karen(Stephen) Kiser of Polk City, FL. And uncle of Jodie Quinter, Stephen, Michael, and Ryan Burke, and was predeceased by his niece Jessica Quinter. 

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation at Vine Hills Crematory in Plymouth. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism 615 Concord St. Framingham, Ma 01702 https://www.flutiefoundation.org.
