Gail M. Walton, 72, of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. She was the devoted wife of Peter H. Walton; sister of Diane Barrett of Taunton and the late Deborah Pinto; and brother of Richard Green, and Michael Green.
Born in Brockton on June 8, 1952, daughter of the late Evelyn (Nightingale) Green and Richard Green. Gail lived her younger days in Carver and later in Plymouth. She was a graduate of Plymouth Carver High School class of 1971. Gail and Peter met in 1976 and married in 1990, making their home in Plymouth.
Gail made her career as a machine operator with Halliday Lithograph for many years. Following its closing, she became a CNA and home health aide. Gail enjoyed spending time in the kitchen cooking for those she loved. She was also incredibly lucky and would consistently win on Bingo at Foxwoods.
A visitation will be held at the Cartmell Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St., Plymouth, on Monday, Feb. 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. A private burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Plymouth. For more info and to sign the online guestbook please go here.
