All three will be at the Plymouth Public Library, 132 South St.

The workshops will provide in-depth information about how these technologies work and cover the popular government programs designed to help pay for home energy efficiency improvements and electric vehicles:

The sessions will be:

On Saturday, June 29, visitors can see cars owned by New England Electric Auto Association members and learn about their ownership experience, or test drive a cutting-edge new EV from a local car dealer. See cars from Toyota, Honda, Chevy, Volvo, Hyundai, Cadillac, and others. The Town of Plymouth will also show new EV vehicles from its fleet. At 1 p.m. there will be an EV workshop in the Fehlow Room. There you can learn about purchasing an EV, including state and federal incentives and the ins and outs of charging stations.

At the third session on July 10 at 7 p.m., Energy Efficiency Coordinator Loie Hayes of the Green Energy Consumer Alliance will cover the benefits of heat pumps, how to search out the best set-up for your home, and the rebates and tax credits available. Learn what is involved now before your furnace fails.
