Maryanne (Bratti) Diodato, 88, of Plymouth, died Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 at Harborside Health Care in Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Richard J. Diodato, and the daughter of the late Albert and Marjorie (Leach) Bratti. Born on Feb. 24, 1935, in Plymouth, she was a graduate of Plymouth High School. Maryanne worked as a nutrition aid for the School Department at the Town of Plymouth. She enjoyed playing Bingo and going to the casinos, cooking, the beach, and spending time with her family. Maryanne was a member of the American Legion and the VFW in Plymouth.
She is survived by her son, Richard Diodato Jr., of Plymouth; her daughters Sharon Gecse and her husband Paul of Plymouth; and Laurie Diodato of Plymouth; her sister Louisa Bassett of Plymouth; a brother, Vincent Bratti, and his wife, Diana, of Whitman; and Steven Bratti; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was the mother of the late Michelle Diodato, formerly of Florida, and the sister of the late Albert and Fred Bratti, Marjorie Morse, and Barbara Huff.
A memorial service will be held in the CARTMELL-DAVIS LIFE CELEBRATION FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326. Plymouth, MA 02360
