The Rotary Club of Plymouth has been helping the Plymouth community since 1940 and today has over 45 members who strive to live by the Rotary motto, Service Above Self. Many business owners and Plymouth area residents are familiar with the annual Plymouth Rotary Auction which is our major fundraiser. The Rotary Auction was first held in 1996 when the decision was made to switch from many fundraising projects throughout the year to just the auction. This is the fourth year as an online auction. The public accesses goods and services donated by various businesses and individuals and place their bids.

Plymouth Rotary uses proceeds from the auction to support many local organizations and projects for people in need. None of this would be possible without our generous auction sponsors, donors, and community members who bid on items.

This year we are once again going to conduct the auction online, and we are asking Plymouth area businesses and individuals to donate new items.

Bidding began March 1 and runs through March 17 at 8 p.m.

Questions about the process or about the auction itself can be directed to this year’s chairperson, Kathy Baldwin, at plymouthrotaryauctionma@gmail.com.

Join in the fun and bid today www.plymouthrotaryauction.org.

The writers are both local Rotarians.
