It seems outrageous that Bill Keoghan was removed from Community Preservation Committee.  A push for more affordable housing will not, in my opinion, guarantee that longtime Plymouth residents stay in town.  Likely, more nonresidents will move into the affordable housing based on income and need.  You do not preserve a community by adding more to the population.

The fact that the Select Board had replacements in the wings demonstrates that the board is pushing an agenda not necessarily supported by the population.

But since there is such poor election participation, I guess we had it coming.
