Marie Christine (Stefani) Clark

Family and friends are planning a joint celebration of the lives of Marie Christine (Stefani) and Richard Clark on Saturday, April 26, at 10 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, 41 Westerly Road, Plymouth, followed by a brief ceremony at the Vine Hills Cemetery.

Marie of Barefoot Bay, FL, formerly of Plymouth, passed away in September 2022. Born in 1944, Marie was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Eleanor) Stefani.  She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1962 and Bridgewater State College in 1966.  Marie was a lifelong teacher who started teaching at Mount Pleasant Elementary School in 1966 and went on to teach in Mississippi, California, and Vermont.

Marie and her husband, Richard, had been married for over 38 years. They lived in Vermont and Florida for many years, where they guided many excellent tours across the United States and Europe. Marie had an extraordinary love for children and enjoyed life with stepsons Derek, RJ, Adam, grandchildren Samantha and Jordan, and great-grandchildren Cody and Scarlett.

In addition to children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Marie was survived by Richard until his death in November 2024.  Marie was also survived by her sister Suzanne Ferreira of Plymouth, brother Thomas Stefani of Plymouth, and brother George Stefani of Clifton Park, NY.
